Skeeter Bug, Nice to see ya. There maybe some American companies that will slow down purchases but I think the lower prices will have more of an impact then the few American companies that have had a big enough hit to slow computer purchases.
December and so-far this month have been great for our shop, and I haven't seen any sign of slowdown. However, we are Ibm, Apple, Compaq, Hp, etc.... not Gateway.

That said, A 35 straddle maybe a good idea, better safe than sorry.
