Fake news or Expected I see a news story being floated that the government expected a run on sales, bullshit, plain and simple. The conservative finance industry in Canada and the conservative political movement really thought they could derail this whole process and staked a lot of money on doing this. You can see the results in the market today. The fake news and the fake action is, well fake. The real news is the fact that the government had no idea. Plans are plans so those opposed have to go forward but it won't work. If you think that average Canadians are selling every pot stock and every security related to pot today then you are a fool. Someone is making a concerted effort to change the market and has been active at doing that for awhile. The tide will come in, the boats will rise. The last ditch efforts by the Conservative senators to stop or derail the process were very costly to those opposed to the legalization. They have pretty much accepted that they are in for a dime so now they are in for a dollar. You have to remember that firms like Canaccord were saying Canopy was fully valued when it was $9, fake news. Me, I will wait for the financials.
