John, apparently you are grossly misinformed, let me give you some numbers that will knock your socks off.....AMZN market cap is approx. 1.8 billion with perhaps 100 million in sales last year.....BKS market cap is approx. 2.3 billion with 2.5 BILLION in sales last year AND they are PROFITABLE........how can you even imagine that AMZN has deeper pockets than AMZN. ALSO BKS and BGP have negotiated MUCH lower purchase prices for their books due to their VOLUME purchases. AMZN is not able to get these deals due to their small sales.....BKS and BGP can undercut AMZN prices on the internet for the rest of 1998 until AMZN goes out of business. The Bricks and Mortar stores will more than make up the difference as will the lower purchase costs....AMZN will be lucky to still exist at the end of 1998, and making a profit is already out of the question....AMZN has said so themselves......best of luck.......;^)

P.S. After option expiration today I expect AMZN to quickly lose at least the last 10 points it gained.............;^)
