My main issue with plumbing is I've had more trouble finding parts I want than with electrical projects.
My cabin was built ~75 years ago. I have no idea when it got electricity but when I had a breaker go bad I found out that they are not generic. At least not then. I had to find a little shop in Denver who's business is getting old breakers from who knows where, testing them and reselling them for premium prices.
