Go bless circuit breakers ! Be safe and test the wires for voltage anyway even after throwing the breaker. I got thrown 3 feet across the basement once when I assumed the outlet was dead because one light on the same circuit went out. The box was still hot. I learned the hard way. Some electricians will cut corners or plan it that way.
