Wondering why manufacturers never advertise the height and diameter of water heaters.

I often have to use a model number that I'm interested in and look it up on the web or manufacturer.
They do make it hard. Sometimes under "revues" or "questions asked" you can find the answer or ask it.

(or go to Lowes, Menards or Home Depot with a tape measure)

In my case I did not accurately measure the washer and dryer and she needs a step stool to get past the first shelf of the cabinet that I hung. The cabinet looks so beautiful, is straight, and is strong but she can't reach above the 2nd shelf. DUH!
