I don't disagree with you. What I should have stated in comparing MU and WDC is that WDC margins on solid state, nonvolatile memory (i.e., NAND flash) are much higher, nearly double the margins MU has reported on its flash memory. That's why I believe that cutting capital expenditures for the short term, as both WDC and Samsung have indicated, does not result in WDC losing market share, but it does provide further evidence that the two largest producers of solid state, nonvolatile memory prefer to preserve margins rather than attempt to increase market share.
