Trump has has two years to end birthright citizenship as he promised during his campaign, with control of both houses of Congress. But a Trump promise is always empty.

Republicans have refused to address this issue, even though they could have easily passed the initial Constitutional Amendment.

Why?

Because Republicans have always strongly supported uncontrolled immigration into the United States to help keep wages low.

Republicans had two years to pass what ever they wanted,

. . . . and all they wanted was . . . reduced tax rates for the top 1% of taxpayers and . . . big cuts to the Medicare program for the elderly.

Mission accomplished.
