Garbage disposables are not that popular in Canada, I have never seen one. We have a composting program all food scraps go into a pale with a compost bag, we can throw paper towels in there and any type of food scraps, it goes in our green bin for pick up once a week. No need to flush anything down the drain, oils can go in the bag as well. As well as grass clippings and leaves in the green bin, if you need more room you can get paper bags for leaves and grass clippings. Hardly anything goes in the trash, as its only picked up every two weeks. We also have a recycling program, we have 3 bins, black (garbage) blue (recyclables) green (compost)
