Comments on selling later today vs Tuesday-Wednesday or later?

Sector, you know I would be guessing. Depends on how your position lays out, too. If you have ton of shares, sell some (a small amount) today and replace with an equivalent amount of Feb 30 puts (that you write, not buy). Buys you about 2 points of downside protection and if they get assigned to you, you essentially bought them at 28 (Rudolph's idea, not mine).

Get rid of the Mar. 30s on Tuesday before earnings. Why then? Because I think there is a chance -- all things being equal (i.e., no Asia problem of the day) that the MMs will unwind a bit then from the shorting they did today (for options expiration) and, therefore, push the stock up a bit before earnings.

Stay even on the stock position if you only had a few Mar 30s that were liquidated.

If ASND rises on Wednesday, start looking to liquidate those Mar. 25 calls (I've got some too).

How is that for a plan?
