Do you think that the two sides of AGW are just an "honest disagreement"? What about evolution vs creationism? What should you call it when there is little or no honesty on one side? Am I a "bigot" if I'm bright enough to realize there is little to no honesty on the other side of the coin? Do you think I'm not honest if I understand the other side is in fact not honest? Perhaps you would have a point if instead you argued for treating others kindly even if you find then dishonest. Perhaps we should in the case of intellectual dishonesty, but not in the case of the various dishonesties that land you in jail, like financial dishonesty? Or is treating such dishonest individuals also a form of bigotry? is swift to make people bigots who think they are fighting bigots whenthey are simply fighting over honest disagreements.
