I've always considered that there are one or two most important questions that a religion, such as the Muslim or Islamic one, should be asking themselves ....

"Would the God, or Allah, or whatever name is given to a Deity, who is the Creator of ALL life, human or otherwise, FAVOUR one section of Its human creations over another ?
And would that Creator want, or order, one section of its human creations to kill another section of its human creations ?"

That doesn't sound to me like what the TRUE NATURE, in essence, of a God, or Allah, is all about. That sounds more like something that a primal human being wrote in a "book" a few centuries ago for that person's own ulterior motives in order to achieve some primary goal.

And unfortunately that has morphed into "religious(?)" Groupings that have also spawned splinters such as an Isis, which is perfectly prepared to brainwash young teenagers into blowing themselves up, together with many other innocent human beings, for some spurious afterlife promise.
After all, at birth, NO human being is born with an innate desire or wish to kill another human being. That imperative is impressed into a human mind by other third parties as that young mind takes shape.
Needless to say, those who do the brainwashing are never very keen to strap explosives onto themselves and "practice what they preach" ..... in the name of their God or Allah or whatever other name is given ....

I mean, if a human parent had, say, 6 children, and 3 of them decided to become Buddhists, while the rest of the family remained Catholics, would the father tell the other 3 to kill those 3 recently Buddhist children of his ?
I would say that the last thing that a human parent would EVER contemplate doing would be the killing of its own child, irrespective of what it had done.
So if such an act is so abhorrent to a human being, why would it be less so to a God and Creator, Infinite in ALL aspects ?

I have a book on my shelf entitled, "God's Message To The World ... You've Got Me All Wrong".

I would say that there are many instances in the world of today where such would apply ...........
