This was going to be my answer, as well. They used some Quantum 104MB and Maxtor 213MB drives early on in the SPARCstation 1 era. The first drives we ever got from them were Fujitsu Eagles, back in '85. I've seen CDC SMD drives (now Seagate, of course) and Micropolis ESDI drives over the years as well. But for the past maybe four years or so, I don't think that I've seen anything but Seagate from them.

We usually use whatever comes in the machines, but beyond that we buy third-party. Last year I bought Fujitsu 3.5" Ultra SCSI drives by the case, and have been generally happy with them and the support that Fujitsu provides.
