What is often true in corporate America and I am sure it is even more so for politics is that the majority of people are bottom up thinkers. They don't understand / comprehend great visionaries / strategists amd these folks are often marginalized. They tend to see things in much simpler terms whereas others see chaos. These folks tend to get killed by political infighting (Bannon, Gorka, Newt). It is somewhat rare that you get someone who is good at that and also good at execution / leadership. POTUS is a very rare exception, but he is fighting RINOs within the party, the MSM and the left. You also have the swamp and they will protect the status quo.

Bottom line it is tough to get everyone on the same page and behind the same game plan. It feels as if the R party is much more aligned and behind POTUS than it was especially right after the election. In my mind, a major criteria for staff selection needs be patriot first (they put MAGA over self). POTUS has purged some who are not, but there are many inflated egos in DC.
