I think the chances are slim and none. We need to attract more capital investment. Cutting taxes and regulations is a start, reversing the loss of jobs through bad trade deals, the right kind of immigration (skilled and desiring to assimilate), privatizing social security accounts and medicare, cutting overall spending. President Trump has been the only ray of hope since RR.

If we don't try, everything eventually fails we just delay the inevitable hopefully a generation or two. The more dependent we become on government, the greater the scope of the failure also the sooner the collapse. The more that I study history, the more convinced I am that prosperity and freedom will ultimately take down civilizations.
