The ultimate fix is to privatize the whole system and let each person have their own account and it passes to their heirs when they die. People and their families who die young get zilch. I always paid a lot more in Medicare than SS and it burned me everytime that i saw that. Now I have to pay more for medicare because i make too much retirement income. The answer is to get the government out of this but there is a liability to current and near retirees. Possibly Medicare and SS are the two biggest factors turning the young into socialists. They can't afford health insurance and anyone with half a brain sees where this is headed. Pay all this money into SS for the frigging old people and then it goes bankrupt.
