My great idea for a company.... next time you're in Cambridge, drop into Greg Winter's lab and ask him how long he keeps data/communications. We'll give you a wad of stock options. ;-) (I was the first to automate screening for anti-endotoxin MAbs, a collaboration with the instruments division of Cetus. Got hundreds of unique reagents and tools for preclinical testing. Very useful for human MAb screening, back in infancy days (we were using EBV transformants). But only ONE antibody caught my fancy. Sent data to Dr. Winter, and was invited over to discuss the project while carrying frozen cells. Westerns were also new science, but ours were a lock..... antibody was unlike anything, anywhere. Still is.)
