Dino: That's some intersting news. Thanks for getting WAITE & SEES stock info and for enlightening me about the depth of Dr. See's involvement.
Really, the plot just thickens. They could STILL be in it for the short term. As you know, it's a long and hazardous haul to get to, and thru phase III. But your right. Although they can make killing if they short the stock, they do stand to make a bigger killing by getting through phase III, and bigger yet, if and when they sell off to a VVUS. Even by faking positive results, They could probably duplicate the profit, sell high and get out before anybody knows the better.. Then again, they can just hit & run and not worry about thinking up with all those creative press releases.
As for your VVUS Q. about quantities afloat.. Don't know. But there sure is a lotta paper blowing somebody's way.
