I must be completely INTJish because it seems useless to ascribe motives, personalities, etc., to corporations that simply wish to maximize profits however they deem appropriate to do so.

Thus, I see no difference between Apple, Windows, QCOM, etc., except in how efficiently or creatively they execute their plans to make money.

To make money, these behemoths must fill a need. They all do. To some extent.

I have a hard time cheering for any of them.

I remember when Google’s corporate motto was something taken from the Hippocratic oath: do no evil.

Now, it might be as evil as they come.

But they still fill a need, and definitely make money.

It’s hugely amusing to see a multinational corporation involved in brutal competition suggest that it is some sort of Social Justice Warrior.
