Hi TW,

Nope , no magic.

I was just thinking this decline is showing some strange stock action.

Just before 10:40 T and F were swimming upstream in a down market.

Big and safe dividend payers, but just before that Ford declined to a break even.

T seems to be in an uptrend still. Ford has recovered AND KMI is doing better.

Energy seems to have bottomed - semi's are still getting clobbered.

China trade tensions have apparently pushed out equipment orders in asia.

Usually in big market declines the higher yielding stocks act a bit more resilient - as long as the dividend is retained ,and if it is increased they get a strong following.

I'm out of the market till January 2019, where I hopefully get some T shares assigned to me ( below $30.00 net purchase price and a yield of 6.6 %.

Meanwhile Henry's 2740 support in the SPX seems to be holding the decline - SO FAR!

Bob
