Hello Ed

There is something I have been meaning to ask you and I have a few minutes so here goes.

You and a few others often post trading activity summaries of various houses. I also read quite a few postings from various folks expressing digust about CC, Yktn or who ever puting out a buy or sell recommendation and their trading activity summary subsequently showing a trade on the opposite side of the recommendation.

The usual comment is "pump and dump" or something to that effect.

Just to play the Devil's Advocate for a minute, is it not likely that the trade opposit the house recommendation is one or more placed by a client through the house simply ignoring the house recommendation?

As wild west as the VSE is, and as full of juniors who probably do practice this activity, I find it difficult to believe that a house could get away with recommending their clients sell, while they (the house) buys for their own account. Again, I may be niave, but I would like to think that the authorities or even the RCMP would consider that fraud and prosecute.

Your thoughts.

Regards
