J,
There are a lot of good books out there and I have not read them all. With that disclaimer (just in case the book police are lurking ;-) ):

Scheinman: Why Most Investors are Mostly Wrong Most of the Time -- more of a general theme, but does a nice job of putting TA into perspective and does have some good analysis hints.

Pring: TA Explained -- should be in everyone's library.

If you drop into equis.com you will find Achelis's TA from A to Z on the web site. Has simple explanations of quit a few of the TA indicators.

Appel & Hitschler: Stock Market Trading Systems -- eventually ends up with the system they recommend; however, the system is made of of serveral independant TA indicators and they do a fair job of explaining the role and relationship of each indicator.

I have other favorites, but each only covers one type of analysis. If you decide to start combining TA with your FA then I suggest also reading up on Gann, Fibonacci, Pring's momentum theories, regression analysis, Elliot Wave, and Candlestick and Point & Figure charting. You don't have to specifically apply any of them.

Keep in the back of your head that TA as a group generally measures only three things: market activity, market momentum, market breadth/strength.

Hope that gives you something to work with. You can get these books from:
traderspress.com
elder.com
equis.com
and of course
amazon.com

I would look at all four as the first three often have specials. Trader's Press currently has a large sellection of books for sale at substantial discount.
