Excellent. Just got back to our hotel after seeing protests in Lisbon. Very energetic- but well behaved- protestors. I like to see democracy in action. I'm glad to see US protests, and I hope they continue. They're a nice enema for the body politic. And let me just add- everyone hates Trump here in Lisbon. No matter what nationality, everyone hates him. There are a lot of Brits at our hotel- and they REALLY hate him. It's been pleasant to be able to say- "We're from California- we're not like the rest of the country." And everyone says, "We know." What a beauty of a country Portugal is. We were at the coast today- after touring Regaleira and Monserrate. You'd swear you were in Monterey- only the coastal villas cost about 200k instead of 3 million. You can really see why the expat community is booming. And the wine! Went to a winery on the coast- crisp delicious whites- very much like Monterey.
