I've heard, but even that fails to describe the variations. Skiing in Equador (ya, that's a thing) is like skiing on cauliflowers; very rough and cruddy. In Utah, it is very light whereas I found Whistler BC to be so heavy and exhausting (having dinner "with" Trudeau was its saving grace). Korea is nice and I am used to skiing in the East coast and enjoy it, even though people from the rest of the world likely have a hard time here and find it too icy. Overall, I find the Alps ideal. The point is, there is no such thing as "snow;" it's different everywhere.
