Ethics are strange thing. Humans throughout the ages have independently thought through them and come to strikingly similar conclusions. And throughout the ages different groups have managed to get widespread agreement and acceptance of them. Yet, though understood and even agreed upon, very few actually manage to follow them. I guess it is that damn lizard brain (the literal devil in us) always trying to overreach and influence rational thought....
