DIVIDEND / Pioneer Natural Resources Company Declares Cash Dividend NYSE SYMBOL: PXD JANUARY 16, 1998 DALLAS, TEXAS--The Board of Directors of Pioneer Natural Resources Company ("Pioneer") (NYSE-PXD) today declared a semi-annual cash dividend of five cents ($.05) per share payable March 17, 1998 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 17, 1998.
