We are getting into "A Christmas Carol" time of the year. One thing people ignore is after Scrooge "sees the light" he doesn't liquidate his business and give the money to the poor. The Cratchets would have really been up a creek if he'd done that. No he keeps running his business (which he is very good at). He was a capitalist before the ghosts, he was a capitalist after. He just got much more enjoyment out of his wealth by sharing some of it. Nothing about Capitalism implies you should be a miserable old miser.
