Tonto: Have you ever seen a situation where the company (and its online shareholders) spent most of their energies focusing on the short position and the short sellers, where, in the end, it WASN'T a complete scam? The correlation has been 100% in my experience.

The one I've been exposing since last summer, DHMG, must have sent out a dozen or more letters to shareholders in 1997 all talking about its battles versus "shorty". It has made wildly inflated claims of the size of the short position, and constantly urges its shareholders to call for its certificates to start a short squeeze. In the meantime, its financial reports are a complete joke and its auditor walked off the job a month ago, and the company still hasn't found a replacement.

Honest companies always have the same answer when they hear someone is shorting their stock: "We'll just work harder to run the company right so they will be proven wrong". Crooked managements hate short sellers because they know that the shorts know the truth.

In this case, I doubt there are any shorts to speak of. Even at its peak the market cap of RMIL was too low for any serious shorts to bother. The short conspiracy nonsense is obviously just a smoke screen. You wouldn't think there are enough stupid people around after GIFS, SEXI, etc., to believe that garbage, but as this thread proves, there sure are.
