How do I put this diplomatically?..... I have a passionate lack of respect for an individual who played an early, determining role in the "science". IMO, this individual was more interested in money than in patients. He/she had the "real estate, biotechnology..... whichever comes first" attitude. Long gone and a millionaire or millionairess several times over, his/her footprints remain. More often than not, corporate cultures are slow to change. In a public corporation that is not governed by critical shareholders, you often encounter the cesspool theory in action..... the really big chunks float to the top. That's the origin of biotech's tainted image.... greed, and a John Q. Public investor that can't discriminate between good science and crud. Disclaimer..... haven't looked at them in a few years, and the culture may very well have changed. I found long ago, however, that (1) they rarely do, and (2) you lose ten good opportunities while researching a single "past stinker". In this age of excellent science mixed with business, why bother? Thanks, V1. Your comments are valuable. Rick
