Duncan, My understandig is that the recordable DVD standard is backward compatable so a DVD or CD will play on the new units. But they are months away. I will be interested in what Gilder says about Video on IP and Voice on IP. I am very bullish on this and see them as the killer apps of gigabit and terabit networking. John
