New York - lost 3 seats. Now control 6 of the state’s 27 House seats. Oklahoma - lost 1 seat. Now control 4 of the state’s 5 House seats. Pennsylvania - lost 3 net seats (GOP lost 4, Dems lost 1). Now control 9 of the state’s 18 House seats.
Minnesota - no net change in seats. GOP lost 2 seats and Dems lost 2 seats. Continues to control 4 of the state’s 8 House seats. New Jersey - lost 4 seats. Control 1 of the state’s 12 House seats. New Mexico - lost 1 seat. Now controls none of the state’s 3 House seats.
Iowa - lost 2 seats. Now controls 1 of the state’s 4 House seats. Kansas - lost 1 seat. Now control 3 of the state’s 4 House seats. Maine - lost 1 seat. Now control neither of the state’s 2 House seats. Michigan - lost 2 seats. Now control 7 of the state’s 14 House seats.
Colorado - lost 1 seat. Now control 3 of the state’s 7 House seats. Florida - lost 2 seats. Now control 14 of the state’s 27 House seats. Georgia - lost 1 seat. Now control 9 of the state’s 14 House seats. Illinois - lost 2 seats. Now control 5 of the state’s 18 House seats.
GOP House losses per state after the midterms: Arizona - lost 1 seat. Now control 4 out of the state’s 9 House seats. California - lost 6 or 7 seats (depending on #CA21). Now control 7 or 8 of the state’s 53 House seats.
