Pascal, OK guys- I went into my Zack's Database and looked up CREAF. The last update to CREAF was on 1/12/98. As of 1/12/98 the three most recent brokerage earnings estimates for FY97 (ending June 97) were $2.31, 2.48, and 2.59. Consensus estimate (7 estimates total) for FY 97 is unchanged @ $2.53/share.....

As for FY 98 the three most recent brokerage house estimates for FY 98 projected earnings are $2.60, 2.65, and 3.20/share......

Guys and gals- don't get "buffaloed". Be a contrarian and invest in what is currently not popular right now- and that is tech stocks. Even if you knocked 15-20% off of the earnings estimates of every tech/telecommunication/medtech stock discussed here on the SI Threads in order to account for the "Asian Flu", check out the growth rates/revised earnings powers of these stocks- they are still excellent....

Sincerely,

Doug F.

For e.g., knock 20% off of the FY97 Zack's Consensus Estimate of $2.53, and you'd still have a stock earnings $2.00/share in FY97 and also projected to earn $2.10 in FY 98.

Throw in that this stock is a leader in the multimedia arena, just (through Ensoniq) made its first true full fledged foray into the computer OEM, throw in that the company has almost no debt and about $400 mm cash on the books at the close of this quarter in about a week
