Three: Late-breaking news story.... Laredo, Texas, Jan 16 Three bears are spending the week end in the Laredo City jail after being apprehended by Texas Rangers at the Mexican border crossing, They face charges of petty theft, defacing public propery and appearing naked in public. Said Ranger Billie Joe Rankin "We were setting up a speed-trap radar system behind the Bull Durham billboad that has been designated a historic monument, when these bears drove up in a 1978 Pinto Wagon and started to relieve themselves on the supports". Following a low-speed chase which ended at the Border, the culprits were found to be driving a stolen car with a value of less than $100 with expired inspection tags. Several bags containing expired options slips found in the car are being examined for possible security trade violations. SES
