Does this thread belong to high risk/reward takers and no contrary
views are allowed? Just like you are tired of my constant questioning
you call whining I am tired of praising Ancor just because Ken said
they will be allright(that's what the last regime said and everybody
here agreed at the time).

Stumbled upon this tidbit of news on the WEB which reminded me
of something:

Cabletron Connects LAN To WAN
Rochester, N.H., company is close to introducing carrier modules that will switch between WAN transports - frame relay and leased lines - and LAN protocols, including Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, ATM, and FDDI. The company said the modules will also support ISDN and digital modem connections.

Do you or anybody else know anything about the status of Ancor's
project with NTT for such interface between ATM and Fibre Channel? Or do you think that it's dead now that focus shifted
to storage?
