No Red does not equal up. It's just a pattern call.

Obviously this is getting too complex for written communication.

Red is Red. Red is a pattern. That's all. Red, Blue, whatever, can be up or down. It's all in how one reads the pattern.

If you have a "Head and shoulders" Pattern in T/A; if it is a reverse "Head and shoulders" is it any less a "Head and shoulders"?
