DUV the tip of the iceburg, a picture worth a thousand words. sciam.com As you have pointed out, chip manufactures have squeezed the last uM out of the i-line lithography process. By the same token I think it is a reasonable hypothesis that the same will occur for DUV. Extending it beyond 2000 and ? Cymer is out of the gate first with a great product. Competition is there and Cymer's customers would like a second source. The company / industry analogy that best describes Cymer's position is much like Intel's. Granted Cymer's market will never approach the scale of INTC's but Cymer has an opportunity to dominate its market in a similiar manner and reap the rewards. I've been in Cymer since Nov. 96, the past 4 months have not been enjoyable but I have to remind myself of the big picture. Regards, Denis
