Two of the best items in there were, (1) as an inner city youth you are worthless, but as a prisoner behind walls you are worth over $40k/year. Which of course leads to someone lobbying and promoting the lockup system as opposed to spending a fraction of that money in training and community centers...because God forbid the government be expected to take a positive leadership role in the society. The other was how totalitarian regimes create a false narrative of personal responsibility where everything is the individual's problem and responsibility, thereby deflecting the responsibility for leadership and progress from the politicians and officials.
