There will be a huge "opportunity for consolidation" between Ford Europe, Fiat-Chrysler and VW.

VW is willing to share their MEB drive platform (Modular Electric Construction Kit / Modularer Elektrobaukasten) IP with China in an attempt to achieve huge economies of scale.

VW has 26 vehicle designs which can be built with their MEB drive.

With all of the lithium, cobalt and other components already sourced, VW has a $30k sales price targeted for their global electric car with an initial production of 200,000.

VW's MEB (Modularer Elektrobaukasten) with the same interior room as the VW luxury Passat, but the exterior profile of a VW Passat.
