Hi Leo,
I can't contribute to BOCA discussion because I've not been listening for some time, but, I wanted to respond to your Smith Corona comments.

Yes they emerged from Chapter 11 and yes, they are involved with a new product line but it is not limited to cellular phones. SCCO is focused on small business equipment, mostly manufactured by a partner in Mexico that just bought their plant and equipment.

Before emerging from Chapter 11, they nearly sold the entire corporation for less than 38 Million. When that deal fell through, SCCO sold its facility in Indonesia for nearly $24 Million. Through Chapter 11, they engineered a 20 to one reverse splt. They also arranged a $25 Million Credit Facility.

With their distribution facilities in Cortland and smaller in California, they intend to use their Brand recognition and strong retail associations to market the new line. I'm looking for reports on the nine new products announced at the electronics show.

I can see Smith Corona meeting a market niche for small and independent (even home) offices. If they focus on the gadgetry of others just by giving them market exposure/retail slots, they can receive dividends on their long standing marketing relationships.

FYI
