| | | Good morning, Sam. Hope your weather is pleasant and your golf game in fine shape.
It isn't clear to me that we have stock manipulation. I see smart buyers bidding 37 cents, and perhaps, desperate sellers asking 39 or 40 cents. From reading posts it is plain that we have many shareholders that are very, very nervous. I may even be one of them. In fact, I am sure that at times I am one of them. Come to think of it, I must be. For about a week I hit a period where I began to "think" too much about where we are going. So I sent an email and asked a question. Now I have calmed down some and feel a bit better. But back to the market. SWINGFORTHEFENCES has written a good post. It is just a thin trading market for Zenyatta, like it is most of the time.
What do most investors have to get excited about with Zenyatta? The number who know about us is a very, very small percentage. I read where 84 % of investors in the market were risk adverse. So write them off from the start, and it is a small percentage of the rest that care about Zenyatta. I think we might be in this situation until we see some results from the plan our new BOD has prepared. I am prepared to wait until spring sometime and in the meantime, wait out the "dry" period. But we never know what might happen in the markets. They are so unpredictable most of the time. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise.
A few think if we had not changed the BOD the share price would be better. After all back then it was trying to hold in the 70's. But, in reality, nobody knows where it might be if no change had happened. No one can guarantee the market. It is a very small chance it would have stayed in the 70's. But it is all speculation and there really is nothing to be gained by swelling on it. Bottom line is this, we have to get to spring or early summer, have success with the plan, and see how the markets respond to whatever that success is. I'd like to see us stick together now that we are committed.
Figure this. We are bringing out 990 tons of ore. From that we hope to have 40 tons of graphite. That makes something like 30 tons of graphene. Figure how many grams that is and multiply by the sale price of graphene. The figure you get should make you a lot more happy with your investment. But that isn't all. These figures represent only 1,000 tons of ore. Isn't the mine to produce about 25,000 tons for 40 years? Somehow we have to get to next summer and the next step. Make no mistake about this. You are going to face dilution to get to the proverbial "pot of gold".
One last comment about the "insiders" being in on the "take". The money has to come from somewhere. Who better than our own people. AE did it too. No problem from me.
As for manipulation. It does happen but not as much as we sometimes think. It is illegal after all, so do not get caught. The people who try it are looking for big money. They are not getting it with a few shares of our Zenyatta that we see trade. Cheers................
