Is the End Game for GE what GM did? A structured BK? General Motors Chapter 11 reorganization That would allow GE to peel off their unfunded Pension liabilities and still keep the Brand and jobs in the smaller company. Also Bond holders could receive shares in the new entity. When GM did their structured BK, common shares were wiped out June 8th and a new entity started trading July 10, 2009. EKS
