Electric,

I never thought of the SPX and OEX as movers/shakers, I viewed them as turtles. gggggggggg

For example, the NDX can easily move 30 points in a day and the record was around 40 until it was broken in Oct when it moved over 100 points in a day. The XBD dropped 48 points a few days ago. The BKX can also move 20+ points easily. The SOX is also a fast mover, especially if you consider that it is only a 300 point index. The XAL moved 23 points today. The SPX/OEX are not the slowest indexes, but they are slowpokes.

Also, many of the faster moving indexes have lower premiums than the SPX/OEX.

My guitar also calculates relative strength of an index compared to the other index, so it can tell the weak ones from the strong ones.

I did not pick the XAL PUTS since it is weak, but since it is strong.
I dont want to get into that now since it is another one of my stupid theories.
