Network Imaging Announces $116,000 Contract Win at First State Bank of Texas; TREEV Division Delivers Branch Automation With Voyager II(TM)
HERNDON, Va., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Imaging Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: IMGX - news) today announced First State [Nasdaq:FSNM - news] Bank of Texas as the newest customer to use its bank imaging and document management technology. First State Bank of Texas, located in Denton, Texas, has chosen TREEV Voyager II(TM) to establish branch automation of its loan processing and credit administration functions.
First State Bank of Texas, an institution with $1.2 billion in assets, is comprised of 13 community branches in northeast Texas. The bank chose TREEV's Voyager II document imaging system to manage their growing credit and loan application activities. Until now, all credit and loan documentation has been maintained exclusively in paper form. With Voyager II, approximately 458,350 pages from active credit and mortgage files will be scanned into the system so that officers at multiple locations are able to simultaneously access the same files and work collaboratively online.
First State Bank of Texas was looking for a solution that would implement efficient communication between their various locations for auditing and processing loan documents and credit files. First State Bank of Texas selected the TREEV Voyager II document management system to help establish a more cost efficient infrastructure that will provide them with more control over their loan documents. Voyager II will help First State Bank of Texas centralize their loan, mortgage and credit files while guaranteeing that each remote location has full access to all files. This will help reduce files from physically being removed from the main location, plus reduce courier and fax expenses. This strategy will dramatically increase the productivity of all loan officers and should provide an annual net savings of over $120,000.
