Some time ago I decided I was having too many problems with Firefox and changed to Chrome. In thinking back, my problems may have been related more to problems with CCleaner. At any rate, with Chrome I also chose to go with "Click & Clean" to clean up after each session. Now I'm finding frequent messages at start up that Chrome did not close properly and do I want to restore old session, or start over.
I decided to go back to CCleaner only to find it does such a cleaning job that all my passwords, chart settings and stuff I don't want messed with each shut down, gets messed with. After running CCleaner, I find the next time I boot up I'm faced with resetting all my saved parameters.
My son advised against using any of these "cleaners". Seems like using them is just good maintenance to me. But not if I have to start from scratch each day.
I've looked at YouTube vids on setting parameters for CCleaner and I still get a full clean sweep of stuff I don't want to have to reset next time. Obviously, I'm not doing something right.
Any help with how to fix this.... or other ideas I may not know about.... all is appreciated.
