Aren't there financial risks in using some of these discount brokers? Sort of like using a subzero PC? How do you check out their financial reliability before entrusting your money to them? Are they insured in case they go broke? Don't intend to sound smart aleck. I have thought about moving to a deep discount house for on line trades, but have real concerns about who has my hard earned money in their account. NW PS I am not a broker.
