I came across ASMR videos last year, and I found them hard to watch all the way through. I suppose a lot of people get something out of them given the subscribers some of them have. Seems like a fad, IMO.

Bob Ross the scene painter is considered an ASMR channel because of his calming voice and narrative. He used to be on PBS many years ago.
