Hi Jake,

34 is a reasonable price.

I can remember this summer hearing buy at 35 -36.

Time warner has been acquired and is adding to cash flow and making the dividend more secure.

The DOJ is still a cloud hanging over t and the price of its stock. That should go away sonn and I think/hope it has zero impact.

The last investor conference last month looked good to me.

The big item hanging over T is debt reduction. Hard to know what assets will be jettisoned. Buy certainly T has a closet full of real estate and possibly past ventures that could be up for sale.

As 2019 progresses and the debt gets retired and brought into 2.5 x's ratio, I think we'll see more upgrades and prices into the mid 30's.

In my way of thinking ,this decline has offered up a great opportunity to get a long term buy and hold position of a great dividend Aristocrat (that is using its scale to lock in some great but valuable assets).

I remeber in the midst of a terrible market share decline Roger Smith brought in EDS and Hughes electronic to the GM fold.

These great acquisitions were utilysed to modernize an antiquated GM into the digital world.

After gaining it's desired benefits, GM sold portions of the company at a great profit and kept that which they had integrated into their world wide manufacturing system i.e. Pulsat satellite system.

There are only a handful of companies that have the scale to make these kinds of acquisitions.

It is not out of line for many investors to say "Show me it works" before they become buyers of the stock (especially if they are conservative dividend yield seekers).

I think 2019 will prove to kind to T's stock price.

Bob
