Some thoughts:

1. Shorter covering might be due to several factors: option expiration, not being caught over 3 day weekend and maybe not having to show short position to Nasdaq (which is based on position as of 15th of month - if shorter covered yesterday)

2. Technically above short term MAs and above midpoint of Bollinger bands but just below 50 d MA - a couple of things could happen - we could close above 50 d MA or we could consolidate between 50 d MA and lower end of BB (which should be moving up). Given technical damage that was done and possible continued shorting I'm looking for continued base building but with diminished volatility (most likely case) - although this has been soooooooo oversold that strong run may continue.

3. 2 weeks before Q end and a month before probable earnings run.

4. Lesson learned - for those trading a portion of their portfolio - buy on dips and sell on euphoria - hopefully this will diminish volatility which the shorters live on - they would love for the stock to zoom now so they could short again. I'd much rather have a slow but steady upward trend (realize this is wishful thinking though).

5. I think Radicas fewer models compared to Tiger is a plus for Radica - its much more efficient - just a few sports models accounted for large portion of Radicas sales. Its also efficient for stores in terms of sales/floor space. Sooner or later TOY will wake up to this.

6. Recent post of German acceptance of fishing and virtual games bodes very well given Walmart (major Radica customer)expansion into Germany.

7. Some people who wrote the Jan 12 1/2s and 15s (yes the 15s too) will get calls from their brokers on Tuesday that their shares were called away.
