I used to be the first person here to deny that Trump was in trouble, and offer that calls of his demise were premature.

But now I think his goose is cooked. With dressing and gravy.
I think you are right and they will cook up some excuse for him to "retire due to health reasons" which would be hilarious since he came up with the bull about HRC during the election. He will try to do a deal for immunity from federal prosecution and try for state immunity as well. I would still like him to limp along for the next 1-2 years to remind people who the politicians were who tied their wagons to Trump's horses. In Georgia, we have Perdue who is up for re-election in 2020 and he has been a Trump supporter the past couple of years. It will be interesting to see how he plays his re-election now. Here is an article in the AJC from just a couple of days ago. Interesting how things may change
