yes, let them. They have their own problems. However, it was Bernie Sanders, the first mover on today's socialist movement, who said how Venezuela was a great example of what he was talking about. So let's hold him accountable for that. He said Venezuela was an example of his ideology and that he wants that here. Well, no one in their right minds wants what Venezuela has. This is the problem with Socialism. It always starts with the idiot savants who sell it to the gullible like you. Then it ends in tears as in Venezuela or Cuba. It's always the same. To the extent that other socialist countries have not experienced exactly the same fate is due to how capitalistic their economies are. Many of the Nordic countries have protected their capitalism and have survived long past the expiration date of their socialism as a result. The more socialism you implement, the faster the demise of the economy and the more impoverished the people.

With Capitalism it is the opposite. The more free markets you open up and the lower the level of government involvement, the faster the economy grows and the more wealthy the people become. It's such a regular occurrence that it is damned near a tautology.
